Ham Radio Stuff
This Section of the site deals with Ham Radio and related gadgets. My Call Sign is WN6CTY, and I have my amateur Extra Class license (unless they change what the call it...). I have been a License holder since 1978 where I first got the WN6CTY call sign.  I have been on and off the air several times, but now back. My station include Drake TR-7's and related Drake Accessories, Drake L-7, Henry 2k-4 and a 2k-3 amp. The antenna is a Cushcraft R-7000, which work OK, but has a pretty narrow bandwidth and has a reputation for not being able to hand the 'full legal limit'. As you can see I like the Drake Equipment, it is very well made, made in the USA, still can be serviced by R.L. Drake, and a Classic radio that has 'Enough' fancy features to get the job done.

Other Projects include the Motorola VHF/UHF Commercial Radios and moving them the the Ham bands. I currently have a Syntor UHF, Syntor VHF, SyntorX UHF, SyntorX VHF, MCX-100 UHF, and a MCX-100 VHF all moved into the 'fun zone' with the SprogII software. Currently have the Syntor's in the car, and the SyntorX's and MCX-100 on the floor
